Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) Overview

Strong leadership within dealerships is essential in todays automotive industry.

Successful leaders are able to transform organisations.  They enhance value, create efficiencies and engage their teams to deliver better results and so it is essential that your future leaders are continually developed and coached to ensure that they are ready to deal with the demands of the evolving automotive industry.

The Deloitte Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) is designed to upskill participants as they think more strategically about their departments/dealerships and supports them as they transition into more senior roles as future leaders of the automotive industry.

By the end of the ELDP participants should be confident to:

  • Understand their role as a leader, and build their leadership capability
  • Think more strategically about the business, and develop short, medium and long term strategies
  • Understand the financials of the total dealership and interdependencies of the departments
  • Identify their “natural” leadership style and gain insight to their teams working styles
  • Apply best practice insights to create a high performing team
  • Create and communicate an Action Plan to improve their dealerships performance
  • Form important connections within their dealer network, organisation and the wider automotive community
