Deloitte City Mobility Index

31 January 2018

Gauging global readiness for the future of mobility.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new thought leadership report — Deloitte City Mobility Index (DCMI), an in-depth study that analyzes 18 major cities on key aspects of mobility, the city’s approach to the Future of Mobility (FoM), and the resulting relationship to economic performance.

Deloitte examines each city’s transportation landscape and its future of mobility readiness through three thematic areas—performance and resilience, vision and leadership, and service and inclusion.

While cities like Helsinki and Singapore score high on the mobility index and are a few strides away from becoming future of mobility leaders, some cities continue to tackle mobility challenges ranging from public transport coverage, inclusive & integrated transport networks, journey planning tools, to mobility technology investments and policy & regulation. Further, the report recommends key focus areas for each city to improve and strengthen their journey towards optimal adoption of the future of mobility.

Explore the report to find out how each of the 18 cities stack up against each other, and where they are on their individual future of mobility journey spectrums.
