Benchmarking is an excellent method of monitoring performance and setting goals. More than just a collection of numbers, the Deloitte Dealership Benchmarks are a cohesive framework of KPIs designed to help build and manage a dealership.

The benchmarks should be used as a guide to building a sustainable, long‑term business. The starting point is the data uploaded to the eProfitFocus system for the 12 months leading up to the benchmark period. The performances of the top 30% of these dealers are then isolated and taken as the reference point for the benchmarks. This raw data is then adjusted to reflect contemporary industry circumstances as well as long-held best practices.
